About Us
Based in Fresno, California, Southeast Collective creates community events highlighting Southeast Asian culture and art throughout the Central Valley. These events are safe spaces for all to learn, build connections, and explore cultural identity. We also partner with organizations around the country with similar mission statements. Though the Southeast Asian diaspora reaches far and wide, our community is connected and strong.

Founder/Creative Director
Victoria
Victoria has a passion for storytelling and has been a community organizer since 2009. Before founding Southeast Collective, she helped publish "Lao Voices in the Central Valley" in 2017 and organized the Lao Night Market in 2019. She also organized a Virtual Lao New Year during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, bringing Lao communities together in a totally new and different way. When she's not working or managing the meme page SupMokGok, she likes to cook and listen to music. Her lifetime goal is to one day run a music venue.

Program Manager
Christina
Christina is the daughter of Khmer Rouge refugees who immigrated to the US in the 80s. She has spent most of her career working in education, from elementary schools in Fresno Unified, to English language schools in South Korea. In her spare time she enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her dog. She is working to be able to have a full conversation in Khmer with her parents.
